Melly Still

Melly Still has worked as a director, choreographer, designer and adaptor for many companies including the National Theatre of Great Britain, the Royal Shakespeare Company and Glyndebourne Festival Opera.  Melly’s work has travelled across the world, making her perfectly placed to lead Tiger Bay the Musical on stage.

Melly has had tremendous success in recent years including directing Shakespeare’s Cymbeline at the Royal Shakespeare Company and Coram Boy at the National Theatre and on Broadway, nominated for four Olivier and six Tony Awards including Best Director.  Most recently she directed the epic tetralogy of Neapolitan novels by Elena Ferrante, My Brilliant Friend, at the Rose Theatre - a celebrated five-hour event in the London theatre calendar.

Expect a gritty spectacular and a real thriller that draws on the lives and losses of the people from Tiger Bay, with a healthy dose of romance thrown in.
