Joshua Carr
Lighting Designer

 

Joshua Carr is an experienced Lighting Designer working across a broad spectrum of performance; from theatre to live events and music. 
 
Since graduating from RADA in 2010 he has worked on productions in various London theatres including the Royal Court, Tricycle, Hampstead, Regent’s Park, Arcola, Park Theatre, BAC and St James Theatre. 
 
Some of Joshua’s most recent productions include Romeo and Juliet at West Yorkshire Playhouse; Everybody’s Talking About Jamie at Sheffield Crucible; Sleeping Beauty at the Watermill and the award-winning Hangmen at the Royal Court which subsequently transferred to the West End.

As well as his lighting design work, Joshua is also co-owner of Otherplace Productions - the biggest operator at the Brighton Fringe Festival, well known for its festival site "The Warren".
