Lungelo Ngamlana


UCT School of Dance graduate, Lungelo Ngamlana is a director, choreographer, dancer, actor and a teacher.

He has worked and performed around the world with companies such as Theatre for Africa, Jikeleza, Isango Ensemble and the Royal Opera House. While with Isango Ensmble, he choreographed several productions including Magic Flute which won an Olivier Award.

In 2016 Lungelo won an 26th Annual NAACP Award in America for best choreography. He is currently choreographing and teaching at New York University.
