Nia is an international voice, text coach and Jazz singing specialist, with a masters in Music and a Masters of Arts (Voice). She is a Visiting lecturer at the National Theatre Institute (Eugene O'Neil Theatre Centre) Connecticut, New London, United States. A faculty member of the Movement and Voice Department at The Fonact School of Acting, Paris, France and an International Lecturer as part of the Soundthinking-Australia Summer Programme, Brisbane. She is also an Education Associate Practitioner for The Royal Shakespeare Company. Nia is the Principle Study Singing Teacher in the Jazz Faculty at The Royal Academy of Music, The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and The Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

She is a regular voice coach with RSC’s Olivier award winning Musical Matilda and had the pleasure of working with the original cast. She is currently touring with the Rambert Dance Company with a new piece by Ben Duke, Goat, which is inspired by the music of Nina Simone until Spring 2018.
